Lovin’ in the Oven

There's a whole lot of Lovin' In The Oven going on behind these gates. We entertain quite a bit, and brave soul that I am, I always try out new recipes on my guests. That's how the keepers get into the recipe box. A passion for cookbooks . . . Well maybe passion isn't the right word, as the count is somewhere around 2000. Obsession is more like it. But whatever you call it, the result is lots of never ending good recipes.

About Me

My photo
CeCe Merrill Boger
Having lived in the Midwest for 49 years, the heart of my cooking has been inspired by good old farm style recipes. Nothing better than a savory pot roast in my book. But after moving to Southern California, the Southwestern influence is showing up on my table. Three children, and seven grandkids keep my kitchen very busy when we all get together. Our summer home up in the sticks (Northwoods of Wisconsin) is the family melting pot for memories. We continue to celebrate all the traditions we've created up there, year after year. I have been working on this collection of recipes . . . The BEST of my BEST . . . as my legacy to this precious family. The sources are not available for the most part, but when I know the source of a recipe I will give due credit.
