Texas Sheet Cake

A chocolate sheet cake that needs no icing.

2  cups  flour
2  cups  sugar
1  cup  butter or margarine
4  Tbs  cocoa powder
1  cup  water
1/2  cup  buttermilk
1/2  tsp  cinnamon
1  tsp  vanilla
2  eggs, beaten
1  tsp  baking powder

Combine flour and sugar in a large mixing bowl.

In small saucepan, combine butter, cocoa, and water. Bring to a rapid boil and pour over flour and sugar. Mix well. Add remaining ingredients. Pour into prepared cookie sheet with sides (about 12x16").

Bake @350 degrees for about 30 minutes. When it springs back to the touch, it is done. Watch the timing. May take more or less. You may want to dust the top with sifted powdered sugar before serving, but it is not necessary. Of course, you can frost it if you want to, but it sure doesn't need it.
