1 pound lean bacon
Sauce:
1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 soy sauce, Tabasco, Worcestershire

Drain chestnuts. Slice bacon into two pieces. Remove the all-fat end of each strip so it's at least a little bit healthier.
Wrap a bacon strip around each water chestnut, securing with a toothpick. Place on a broiler pan and bake @350° for 20 minutes. Can be made ahead up
to this point.
Remove from broiler pan and place on a Teflon or foil covered baking sheet.
Spoon on the sauce and broil until crisp, turning as needed.
