Cranberry Drops

When cranberries are in season, get a few bags and put in the freezer to use throughout the upcoming year. This is a Betty Crocker recipe.


1/2  cup  butter, softened
1  cup  sugar
3/4  cup  brown sugar, packed
1/4  cup  milk
3  Tbs  orange juice
1   egg
3   cups  flour
1   tsp  baking powder
1/2  tsp  salt
1/4  tsp  baking soda
1  cup  chopped walnuts
2-1/2  cups  coarsely chopped cranberries
Grated rind of one orange

Preheat oven to 375°.
Cream butter and sugars. Stir in milk, orange juice, and egg. Mix in remaining ingredients. Drop dough by teaspoonful's, about 2” apart, onto greased baking sheet. Bake about 12 minutes.
