A Little Bit Of Everything Cookies

This is one of my all-time very best cookie recipes. Absolutely everyone raves about these outstanding cookies. It just doesn’t get any better. But after moving to Reno NV it was necessary to adjust the recipe for high altitude baking. These changes are shown in red.

1  cup  unsalted butter
2   eggs
3/4  cup  sugar
3/4  cup  dark brown sugar
1  tsp   vanilla
2-1/4  cup  flour  (2 ½ cups)
1  tsp  baking soda
1/2  tsp  salt
1/2  cup  pecans, chopped
1/2  cup  walnuts, chopped
1/2  cup  macadamia nuts, chopped
1/2  cup  mini chocolate chips
1/2  cup  semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2  cup  milk chocolate chips
1/2  cup  white chocolate chips
1/2  cup  Heath toffee bits (not the chocolate covered ones)

Preheat oven to 375°  (350 degrees)
Cream butter and sugars; add eggs and vanilla. Mix until incorporated.

Sift flour, salt, and baking soda. Add to creamed mixture, 1/2 cup at a time.
Transfer the mixture to an extra large bowl for combining easier.
Then add nuts, toffee bits, and all chocolate chips, stirring to mix together.

Put a spoonful of dough on a greased cookie sheet, or on parchment liner12 cookies per sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes  (10-12 min) Cool on a rack.

Cooking Tip: Never put any cookie dough on a hot cookie sheet. It can result
in flat cookies, with burned edges.
