Paradise Pumpkin Pie

1  unbaked pie shell
8  oz  cream cheese, softened
1/4  cup  sugar
1  tsp  vanilla
1  cup  evaporated milk
2  eggs, beaten
1-1/4  cups  pumpkin
1/2  cup  sugar
1  tsp  cinnamon
1/4  tsp  ginger
1/4  tsp  cloves
Dash of salt
Maple syrup
Chopped pecans

Combine cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and egg. Spread on pie shell.

Combine remaining ingredients (except maple syrup and pecans) and very carefully pour on top of cream cheese.

Bake @350 degrees for one hour. Cool. Brush top with some maple syrup and sprinkle with chopped pecans.
