Use this for a smooth, shiny glaze on Christmas sugar cookies or gingerbread men.
1 cup sifted powdered sugar
2 tsp milk
2 tsp light corn syrup
Food coloring (optional)
Place sugar and milk in a bowl. Add syrup and mix well. Add coloring, if desired (I like it white.) Dries to a shiny finish. You can use a pastry brush to brush on the icing, if you want to. Makes a nice background for further decorating.
